Problem Solving

Meeting: Nothing happened last week. Voting on two new members today.

Cleaning: Toilet paper. Dishes. Yep.

Bureaucracy: Nonexistent

Community: “We should do a thing at the lake”

Credit: Credit has been updated. Usual offenders are still offendin’.

Education: Not educatin’ right now, but will do it soon if more people get voted in.

Environmental: We need to clean the gutters. John G. works everyday except Monday. It sounds like a good time to do it as a group.

Food: No meal tonight due to lack of participation. Should we get rid of it for the Summer?

Mail: We need a new one. We will be voting on it.

Occupancy: We’re voting on it.

Purchaser: It was Hannah. We need a new one.

Recycling: It will be done. I swear it.

Renter: Pay your rent. Jamaal is evicted, awhile ago.

Repair: Gutters should be cleaned. Lots of standing water in gutters allow mosquitoes to flourish.

Safety: It was Warren G. It shall be voted upon.

Shop: There is stuff in there. Screen printing will happen eventually.

Tech: Wireless router installed on third floor.

Treasurer: We owe money for utilities but not much in the bank. Also, UKSHA transfer requires money. Pay your rent or forever hold your peace.

Cleaning: Points for cleaning weekend have been to Credit Recorder. The empty dumpster is here again. Make it your bitch.

Bureaucracy: AWOL

Community: Nothing.

Credit: Credit totals are up. Oil prices are down. Only one person got a point-based fine. Huzzah!

Education: Ain’t got no new people.

Environmental: AWOL. We are voting on a new one soon.

Food: Still getting done.

Mail: Don’t fuck with the mail unless you are the Mail coordinator.

Occupancy: Hasn’t been signing up for points since there are no new members.

Purchaser: AWOL.

Recycling: Still getting done.

Renter: Eight days to pay back rent. If you owe money, you have been contacted.

Repair: Some lights have been installed in the office. Awesome.

Safety: House is safe.

Shop: Gonna start cleaning up a room in the shop for a screen-printing studio. Also, old paint needs to go to hazardous waste disposal. If you can take care of it, you will get points!

Excess points: It is awesome to do jobs because the House needs it. Not just for the purpose of points. For the good of all!

Point technicality: Apparently there’s something in the House manual about cutting down personal point reserves to 150. Should we do this? Perhaps 400.

Notes for the purpose of future point system alterations:

–Putting a 400 point/month cap to prevent freeloading

–Merging coordinator positions to resolve laziness.

–Changing cleaning sheets

Also, instead of a lot of small changes to the point system, a massive overhaul may be looming in the future.
