Meeting Minutes April 12, 2010

Technicalities? What the hell is this?

The meeting has begun at 5:32pm

Problem Solving

Meeting: Lil’ Joshu is Tech. Noah is Renter. Warren has been food reimbursed. Revised cleaning sheets will be voted upon.

Cleaning: Points for cleaning weekend have been to Credit Recorder. The empty dumpster is here again. Make it your bitch.

Bureaucracy: AWOL

Community: Nothing.

Credit: Credit totals are up. Oil prices are down. Only one person got a point-based fine. Huzzah!

Education: Ain’t got no new people.

Environmental: AWOL. We are voting on a new one soon.

Food: Still getting done.

Mail: Don’t fuck with the mail unless you are the Mail coordinator.

Occupancy: Hasn’t been signing up for points since there are no new members.

Purchaser: AWOL.

Recycling: Still getting done.

Renter: Eight days to pay back rent. If you owe money, you have been contacted.

Repair: Some lights have been installed in the office. Awesome.

Safety: House is safe.

Shop: Gonna start cleaning up a room in the shop for a screen-printing studio. Also, old paint needs to go to hazardous waste disposal. If you can take care of it, you will get points!

Tech: No complaints recently.

Treasurer: Nothing

Agenda:

Excess points: It is awesome to do jobs because the House needs it. Not just for the purpose of points. For the good of all!

Point technicality: Apparently there’s something in the House manual about cutting down personal point reserves to 150. Should we do this? Perhaps 400.

Notes for the purpose of future point system alterations:

–Putting a 400 point/month cap to prevent freeloading

–Merging coordinator positions to resolve laziness.

–Changing cleaning sheets

Also, instead of a lot of small changes to the point system, a massive overhaul may be looming in the future.
